AQUON One wins Gustave Trouvé Awards for Electric Boats


We are proud to announce that the AQUON One catamaran took first place in the 2021  Gustave Trouvé Awards for Excellence in Electric Boats. The 68-feet luxury yacht was nominated as part of the “In Development” division of electric boats over 8m/26ft in length.

Thank you all for your outstanding support! It is exciting to see the sustainable yachting community grow…AQUON One was nominated alongside 80 SunReef Power Eco, Silent Straits Sialia 57, SILENZIO Foldable Solar Catamaran, Optima 11, and Queens Yacht EH-36. The winner was chosen through a combination of public voting and an international panel of experts.

Excellence in Electric Boats and Yachting

Plugboats‘s international Electric Boat Awards are the only awards focussing exclusively on electric boats and electric propulsions. They recognize those who are making advances to develop clean, silent, and zero-emission yachting technologies. The Gussies’ awards are named after Gustave Trouvé, French inventor of the world’s first outboard boat motor.
