AQUON joins efforts with the Superyacht Eco Association’s SEA Index

The health of our oceans is vital for humanity, and we all must protect it. We strongly believe that the future of yachting is zero-emissions. With our off-grid solar and hydrogen catamaran AQUON One, we pioneer sustainable yachting.

Yet, we know true change will come only if all players in the industry join efforts. This is why we are very happy to announce that AQUON is a proud member of the “Friends of the Superyacht Eco Association (SEA) Index.”
Established and financed by the Yacht Club de Monaco and Credit Suisse, the non-profit organization SEA models innovation and environmental leadership in yachting. SEA developed a tailor-made tool for assessing the environmental performance of yachts. It allows shipowners, captains, or other Yachting professionals to perform a self-assessment of their carbon footprint. The SEA index thus is an important step towards global industry standards. By providing transparency, the label incentivizes brokers, builders and owners to design yachts with lower fuel consumption and less environmental impact. Because it is time for zero-emissions yachting!
